Eric Dewit had a love of chocolate from a young age. When he was 17 he started working at the Cote D'OR chocolate factory in Brussels. After a tour in the Belgian army, Dewit started working as a carpenter. At 33, he left Belgium and traveled to Ventura, CA and eventually found his way to Marin County where he became a contractor for 23 years.
Finally, he was able to unleash his passion of chocolate by opening a shop in Mendocino in May where he specialized in chocolates imported from Belgium and locally made truffle chocolates. And his journey continues!
Eventually, Eric's journey took him to beautiful downtown Santa Rosa where he runs his shop selling his famous Belgian chocolate, hard candy, licorice, waffles, and chocolate sauce. Recently, he has added French mustards, Italian olive oil & vinegars, organic French jams, New Hampshire maple syrup, Napa Valley honey, & much more.
He has also added various unique collectibles that are good for a man or woman cave, restaurants, bars or diners.
It's a downtown Santa Rosa location that will be hard to pass up!
